According to the Fotocasa real estate portal, rental prices in the Murcia Region have closed 2020 with a strong increase of 8%, well above the salary increases, of the third lowest salaries in Spain. Despite the health and economic crisis, it still appears to the owners that there is room for a rise, while the Ministry of Public Works limits their actions in housing to liquidating the very scarce public stock available, to distribute the rental aid they receive from the central government through third parties, and to pursue needy occupations, which are a direct consequence of the impoverishment of Murcian families that their long years of government have produced. From the PAH we will work so that the future state housing law, which we are promoting with the central government, compels regional governments such as Murcia to develop guarantee policies with the Right to Housing, established in article 47 of the Constitution, systematically violated by the government of López Miras.
