| 22 million euros have been paid from the 'Reactiva Hosteler a' and 'Hibernaci n' lines | The Murcia Region was the first community to approve a plan for the hospitality sector, agreed with the regional employers and resolved in record time A total of 4,863 hospitality and tourism companies in the Region of Murcia have already received aid, worth 22 million euros, from the rescue plan of the Autonomous Community.
These could be requested from October of last year.
These companies carry out their activity in the 45 municipalities of the Region.
Specifically, 1,411 are based in the municipality of Murcia and have received 6,726,000 euros; 606 in Cartagena, who have received 2,908,500 euros; 302 companies in Lorca (1,306,000 euros); 181 in Mazarr n (812,500 euros); 174 in Molina de Segura (807,000 euros); 167 from San Javier (776,000 euros); 169 in Aguilas (724,000 euros); o 116 companies in San Pedro del Pinatar, whose owners have received 527,000 euros in aid.
These funds correspond to the 'Reactiva Hosteler a' and 'Hibernaci n' lines intended to help alleviate losses in the hospitality sectors, travel agencies, tourist guides, companies organization of congresses and active tourism companies, which have seen their activity diminish during the Covid-19 crisis.
The Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Cristina S nchez, stressed that "this unprecedented plan was launched to save the hotel and tourism sector of the Murcia Region and includes direct aid, l Lines of credit, financial measures and advice ".
Likewise, he recalled that "they have the support of the sector, since they were agreed, negotiated and agreed with the hospitality employer." The amounts of the different grants range from a minimum of 4,000 euros to a maximum of 14,000 euros per establishment, and can reach 42,000 euros for entrepreneurs and freelancers who applied for subsidies for different establishments.
