Soto has celebrated that the Congress of Deputies has approved by a large majority the Evaluation and Reform Report of the Toledo Pact, since "it will allow to adopt as soon as possible measures that ensure the present and the future of decent pensions in Spain and in the Region of Murcia ". In this sense, he has assured that "security, confidence and hope have been given to pensioners of today and of the future, demonstrating that dialogue and political consensus are possible, putting the general interest first and leaving aside over-partisan actions."
