| The materialization of these in the medium term will mean the creation of more than 300 jobs | The Committee of the Business Acceleration Unit (UNAI), of the Development Institute (Info) has analyzed the implementation in the Region of Murcia of seven new investment projects worth 556 million euros and the creation of more than 300 jobs I work in Cehegín, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, Torre Pacheco and Fuente Álamo. "Despite the current difficulties that we are going through, the Region continues to have a great capacity to attract investment for companies that see a much more solid economic horizon in the medium term, once we are able to leave the nightmare of the pandemic behind" , said the director of Info, Diego Rodríguez-Linares. UNAI, integrated into the Info, offers constant support so that companies with investment projects can start them up in an agile and efficient way.
In addition, it maintains close collaboration with the Ministry of Development and Infrastructures and the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment and other entities of the regional Administration, in addition to the municipalities concerned by the different investment projects, through the Technical Investment Commission, created to accelerate the execution of business projects and improve the processing processes. On this occasion, most of the investments analyzed correspond to projects related to solar energy, complemented by other investment approaches related to essential oils and mining. These projects managed by UNAI are of an urgent and priority nature for the regional Administration, and reduce administrative deadlines to approximately half the time as if they were carried out on a regular basis.
Thus, the projects assisted by UNAI receive, 15 days after submitting their application, a report with the complete roadmap of the necessary authorizations and procedures, all through a telematic platform.
