The CCOO union denounces that the Regional Government has not dedicated its own funds to face the beginning of the course plagued with difficulties and that the disinterest is such that they have not even presented themselves to the act of mediation of the strike that took place this morning.For CCOO, despite the linguistic intricacies used by the Autonomous Community causing an identification between the concepts of ratio and capacity, the reality is that the ratio is maintained in the Region of Murcia and is masked by the capacity criterion, which consists of depriving, every day, a percentage of students, from attending the center thus denying them their right to education with the added conflict that this entails for families.The Region of Murcia has the dubious honor of having been the only Community in all of Spain to adopt this formula as a supposed measure to control the pandemic in our schools.

The economic and conciliation effort is contributed by the families.For CCOO RM, the 1500 teachers who will expand the staff of the public educational system, until December 23, will not cause the groups to split, so they do not eliminate the problem.There are no resources for telematic teaching in the centers because NOBODY has foreseen the scenario of telematic teaching, a need that has already occurred in 5 municipalities of the Region and that, as in March, has had to be solved from one day to the next.In addition, teachers must once again put their personal resources at the service of the Ministry instead of the other way around, not to mention the educational gap that telematics teaching supposes for students with financial needs.In addition, CCOO RM denounces that all the decisions have been made without taking into account the educational community and the legitimate representatives of the teachers of the non-university public school.For all these reasons, tomorrow, September 23, CCOO calls the public school teachers to strike and to participate in the mobilizations raised by the organizations calling for the strike.The health situation makes it necessary to plan the mobilizations taking into account the reality of the pandemic, therefore the concentrations will at all times have a maximum capacity of 20 people with rotating participation.
