The General Directorate for Citizen Security and Emergencies, dependent on the Ministry of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, takes extreme sanitary measures at its headquarters where the operators of the 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center and the staff of the Service work. The general director, Antonio Luis Mula, explained that "preventive measures have already been carried out in this center, such as special cleaning in each workplace thoroughly, disinfection of the exteriors by the Forest Brigades (BRIFOR), doubled the cleaning service in all the changes of shift of the workers and there are already two security guards for access control who take temperature measurements to all personnel accessing the center. "

Likewise, last Saturday the coronavirus (PCR) test was carried out on the center's personnel and the director general has asked Public Health to continue carrying out this test on all other center workers.

Mula recalled that "it is necessary to take the safety measures recommended by the health authorities and in the facilities it is mandatory to use the material assigned to all personnel such as masks, gloves and the use of antiseptic gels."

Extraordinary conditioning measures have been adopted by the General Directorate that have never been taken before.

The 112 operators and the 061 toilets, who carried out their work in the same room, have been decentralized to four different rooms and strategically located.

The 061 workers have been located in the assembly hall of the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue and in the press room of the General Directorate, preparing both spaces.

On the other hand, the 1-1-2 operators are also divided into two groups, one remains in the usual operating room located at Avenida Ciclista Mariano de Rojas and the other in the facilities located in La Glorieta de Murcia.

In this way, risks due to contagion are minimized by having larger and more separate workspaces and guaranteeing service in the event of contagion from any of the groups.
