The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Bernabé, met today with the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, and agreed to boost the final approval of the General Urban Plan (Plan) of the town.
In this sense, it was reported that is in phase resolution of allegations at the municipal level and that the City intends to submit to the Autonomous Community over the coming weeks.
Furthermore, it was also going to incorporate the town to SIVMURCIA platform tool that provides the geographic location of the buildings in the region, and its basic characteristics, in terms of use, occupation and age.
The Barnabas Minister stressed the usefulness of this website, which have already joined eight other municipalities in the region, through the signing of a cooperation agreement.
"There are other municipalities that are also interested in this tool georeferencing and those who will sign soon accession, so that we can update the stock of empty homes in the region," said regional official.
Moreover, the need for intervention was addressed in different roads of the town, such as improving access to the site of La Bastida, for its enormous importance as a tourist attraction.
Francisco Bernabé pledged to immediately initiate this action "for its tourist importance as it can allow increasing influx of visitors."
Therefore, the Minister of Public Works said to be initiate the necessary procedures to that, "Throughout this year, the tasks are started conditioning the access road to the site, allowing attractiveness and safe arrival visitor ".
