The Department of Citizen Participation has convened an extraordinary session of the Municipal Council of Citizen Participation tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21, at 20:00, in order to account the associative fabric of the municipality and the general public of the participatory process of the Works and Services Plan (POS) for the 2018 and 2019 annuities;
to be held at the "Ginés Rosa" Theater.
The residents of Totana can comment from March 20 to April 8 on this citizen process that will designate the works to be undertaken in the POS corresponding to the years 2018 and 2019 in this municipality, within the framework of the participatory initiative that jointly promote the councils of Citizen Participation and Works and Services to the City.
With this program, it is intended that neighbors choose the projects in which the budget contemplated by this program that the Autonomous Community funds jointly, through the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, and the City Council itself will be invested.
The total budget for both annuities amounts to almost 460,000 euros, of the 430,000 euros are financed by the Autonomous Community, under a grant of 215,000 euros in 2018 and another for the same amount in 2019;
and the remaining 22,500 euros are contributed by the Totanero Consistory.
Those interested can participate by completing the online telematic survey that will be available on the corporate website of the City of Totana, www.totana.es, accessing it through a banner enabled for this purpose;
or in person by completing the surveys at the SocioCultura Center La Cárcel (direct after-care service in the afternoon).
The assessments, opinions and proposals obtained through the survey will be collected in a report of citizen contributions that will be published on the municipal website of the City of Totana;
so that the projects chosen, considered more necessary by citizens, will be presented to be financed from the budgets of the Works and Services Plan 2018 and 2019 of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The Works and Services Plan 2018/2019 has a multi-year nature, covering the expenditure commitment of the Autonomous Community for the amount corresponding to the two annuities, which will allow the possibility of reuse of the remainders that are generated.
