The mayor, Andrés García, has urged different councils and municipal areas of the municipal government to foresee and reserve budget items with specific actions for the year 2018, which will allow the development and implementation of the so-called "Integral Plan for the Revitalization of Youth" "
The first mayor has requested each of the councilors and councilors involved directly or indirectly in the management of matters related to this sector of the population that are enabled, in view of the preparation of municipal budgets this year, certain items that encompass actions aimed at this action program.
This suggestion is aimed basically at municipal management areas that address projects and activities with young people, in this case, Education and Culture, Youth, Services to the City, Sports, Celebrations, Citizen Participation and Social Welfare.
In addition, the objective is that, from each of these departments, contribute in a transversal way, to the extent of the possibilities, to carry out coordinated actions and oriented to alternative leisure, invigoration of groups of young people, prevention of unwanted pregnancies , promotion of healthy habits, collaboration with associations and groups that work with them, among others.
