The "San José", "Reina Sofía" and "Prado Mayor" schools participated in the Regional Sports Athletics Final held in Cartagena, where Pedro Martínez González from the "Prado Mayor" The modality of 1000 free meters, in the male cadet category, according to sources from the Department of Sports.
The tests were held last May 19 and 20 within the Regional Athletics Final of School Sports, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia, where schools "San José" participated in the category Female fry;
The "Reina Sofía" school, in female children's;
And the IES "Prado Mayor" in the infant and male cadet categories.
The sports modalities in which the participating students competed were: speed, resistance, long jump, weight throw and relays.
It is worth mentioning the participation of the IES student "Prado Mayor", Pedro Martínez González, who won the first place in the modality of 100 meters free, in the male cadet category.
The other members of the male cadet of the IES "Prado Mayor" were Ulises García Sánchez, Juan Pablo Ortiz Ureña and Abid Kujundziz Losa.
This center also participated in the male infant category, with a team formed by Ismail Bahadi, Anas Lemjaafar and Mohamed Hourmi.
Also participating in the category of young female fry, the team of CEIP "San José", formed by Nacy Catherine Bolarin Carchipulla, Alba Condo Alvarado, Jacqueline Garcia Garci'a and Marilizzy Belén Gargeda Otondo.
And finally, the female children's team of Reina Sofía College, formed by Maria del Mar Diaz Espinosa, Carmen Escarabajal Martínez, Ãngela Lozoya Pérez, Sara Márquez Martínez and María José Romero Cánovas.
The competition concluded with the awarding of trophies and medals to the three best teams and classified students, by the Director General of Sports, Alonso Gómez López;
And the Councilor for Sports of Cartagena, Ricardo Segado García.
