The Department of the Environment of Totana City Council recalls that only vegetable fires can be carried out in the areas with barbecues in the areas of "El Ãngel" and "El Grifo", next to the sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, so that outside Of these spaces it is strictly forbidden to carry out vegetable fires in the open air on the occasion of the pilgrimages.
In addition, it is reported that, exceptionally and exclusively, camping-gas can be used outside the areas established for cooking the traditional dishes of pilgrimages.
The mayor of the area, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, reiterated that only fire can be carried out in the infrastructures of a fixed and permanent nature enabled for the purpose, allowing outside these structures only with gas, so that the directions of the agents must be followed at all times Environmental, law enforcement and other emergency personnel.
