| The Department of Culture organizes the VI Christmas Shop Windows Competition 2020 whose registration period will be open from November 16 to December 11 | The Department of Culture organizes the VI Christmas Shop Windows Contest in order to promote the creativity of merchants when presenting their establishments and products during the upcoming Christmas holidays, so that they are more attractive to neighbors and customers at the that once they contribute to create a special festive atmosphere, on such special dates, in the streets of the municipality.All those commercial establishments located in the municipality of Totana may participate, regardless of the product they offer to the consumer.The decoration of the shop windows must be directly related to the atmosphere of the Christmas Parties, valuing the following aspects such as artistic creation (originality, ingenuity and artistic richness), materials used, composition and effort and diligence in the execution of the plays.Registrations will be made at the Sociocultural Center “La Cárcel” in person or by phone by calling 968 42 28 17 or 659 94 99 37, from November 16 to December 11. The jury will visit the registered establishments on December 15 and 16, during business opening hours.
This will be composed of the Councilor for Culture and two people with recognized experience in the field.This year the number of prizes is expanded as well as the amount of each one of them.
The following prizes are established: 1st prize of 300 euros, 2nd prize of € 200, 3rd prize of € 150 and three second prize of € 75 each.
The award ceremony will take place on December 17, at 7:00 p.m., at the winning establishment.
