The Sports Department of the Totana City Council is carrying out during this week the work of conditioning and replanting the winter lawn of the municipal soccer stadium "Juan Cayuela" in order to make use of this facility in the best conditions until the end of this season.The repair work is being carried out by the company "Servicissa, SL", with registered office in Elche (Alicante), and will conclude at the end of this week, with a budget that amounts to approximately 8,000 euros.The first actions that have been carried out since last Monday consist of the elimination of the grass and ground aeration by means of hollow puncture in order to unzip the surface of the playing field.Subsequently, we will proceed to the replanting work with winter grass, so that it will be necessary to wait until the grass germinates several weeks depending on the weather conditions and temperatures to start the treatment of the new grass.
In principle, it will not be possible to make use of said installation in approximately a month and a half, according to the technicians of the company.
