Chain of Favors

| From Puente Gotas de Luz, a non-profit association in Totana, a "Chain of Favors" has been created as a support network, which is already bearing its first fruits in just two weeks that it has been in circulation | "It is time to give and ask, to help us, to be united.

It is a time of unconditional dedication" is the motto that Puente Gotas de Luz has coined to begin to publicize and spread its new project.Through WhatsApp, Social Networks and its blog, the association will share, anonymously, the requests of people who have any need (be it about something material or any other type of help).

And whoever thinks they can "do that favor", contact the NGO through WhatsApp 686 829 787 and it will act as a bridge with the person concerned.

According to what they tell the Noticias Totana staff, a simple example was the one that helped them to start this project: "A person published on his Facebook that if someone could give him or lend him a keyboard for his computer.

And Puente Gotas de Luz mediated to get it.

It's that easy, that special.

Ask and it will be given to you.

"And, after this start, several more "orders" have already come: baby milk cans of 1 and 2 for Cáritas de Totana; an articulated bed for a person without mobility; you have filled a job as a caregiver for an elderly person; and a carriage has been obtained for a mother without resources who will give birth in a few days.Puente Gotas de Luz was created in 2016, and since then it has had a very intense activity:44 workshops for children, with voluntary contribution.42 workshops for adults, with voluntary contribution.3 conferences, with voluntary contribution.24 free workshops in schools and in the Municipal Library of Totana.13 free talks at Secondary Education Institutes of Totana, Lorca, Murcia, Elda ...He has promoted different solidarity campaigns for Cáritas de Totana (baby items, food, toys, glasses) and for "Traperos de Emaús" (donation of used books). He has published 5 books, one hundred percent solidarity, the full amount of which has been donated to different associations: Totana Day Center, D'Genes, AFACMUR, Josep Carrera Foundation and AFEM.He has collaborated altruistically with different associations (Totana Day Center, D'Genes, El Candil, ASOFEM, PADISITO, Municipal Center for the Elderly, Day Stay Service for Alzheimer's, AEMA III ...) giving numerous Laughter therapy and Biodanza workshops. He has signed a collaboration agreement with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, where he has given several free workshops and talks to his students. He has promoted family hiking days. The voluntary contributions collected (€ 9,619.90) in the workshops for children and adults have been allocated entirely to a multitude of associations and causes: Cáritas, Red Cross, Totana Day Center, AFACMUR, D'Genes, Refugio del Viento, PADISITO , ADIVAR, AEMA III, Francisco Munuera Martínez Foundation and Murcia Acoge.

All this is reflected in the "Transparency" section of his blog: http://puentegotasdeluz.blogspot.com.And now, when their usual activities have not been able to continue due to the health crisis, Puente Gotas de Luz makes us aware that the world is in need of a great infinite Chain of Favors.

For everyone, and also for Planet Earth, recycling and giving a new use to things that can serve other people. You join?
