| It will be activated from October 28 to November 2 | It is recommended to space the visit to the cemeteries as much as possible in order to avoid concentrations of people, and compliance with the extraordinary rules is requestedThis rule will also be applicable and mandatory in the Parish Cemetery of the district of El Paretón-CantarerosThe Totana City Council is working on a protocol that guarantees the safety of users in the municipality's cemeteries, the Municipal Cemetery "Nuestra Señora del Carmen" and the parish of El Paretón-Cantareros, on the occasion of the celebration of All Day Saints; which will be activated from October 28 to November 2.The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, the councilors of the areas involved, municipal technicians and those responsible for the management and maintenance of the Municipal Cemetery have met today, in the plenary hall, to coordinate the device that allows the implementation of the recommendations sanctions decreed by the General Directorate of Public Health, in order to avoid concentrations of people and that these days become a source of contagion.The protocol includes a rigorous mobility plan specifically designed by the Local Police and Civil Protection for this celebration, with a set of measures aimed at guaranteeing safety when traveling and avoiding crowding at the entrance to cemeteries.The informative signage in the Municipal Cemetery will be placed as of October 23, although it will be on the dates indicated when the control measures derived from the application of said action protocol are activated. The same, which will be regulated by a municipal COVID-19 coordinator for this purpose, contemplates the establishment of the directions of the streets outside and inside the cemetery, with an entry line and an exit line (derived from the channel Rambla), with a maximum capacity of 50% (no more than 500 people inside) and a limited time.The public visiting hours will be from 8:30 to 18:00; while the extraordinary for professional florists is established from 6:00 to 8:00 and from 19:00 to 24:00 so that they can carry out their work and flower arrangements without coinciding.In addition, it is recommended to avoid visiting cemeteries by children, people over 65 years of age and at risk or who belong to vulnerable groups, especially the days and hours when it is foreseeable that there will be more influx of people.The exterior accesses will be controlled by Local Police and permanent private security agents; While inside the Civil Protection volunteers will ensure that people are not crowded at the entrances and exits, and the social distancing of interpersonal safety is maintained at all times, of at least 1.5 meters.Personal contact, such as kisses, hugs and other displays of affection, should also be avoided; and extreme precautions must be taken by maintaining all security measures inside the pantheons and avoiding the concentration of groups both inside and outside.Of course, the use of the mask will be mandatory and dispensing devices will be established, two at the entrance and one at the exit, to make use of the hydroalcoholic gel (with sensors).

The toilets will be closed and users must bring their own cleaning utensils from their homes, as they will not be provided as in previous years.Nor will wheelchairs be enabled, as years ago, so that the disabled must go with their own means; and smoking or the consumption of food or beverages will not be allowed.

This year the installation of any mobile sales point will not be authorized on the access esplanade.Users must deposit the waste in the bins that will be distributed around the cemetery and the taps will be operational exclusively for the supply of water intended for cleaning and irrigation of plants (non-potable).Similarly, it is recommended not to leave containers with water to avoid the proliferation of the tiger mosquito; so the use of absorbent and water-soaked sponges is advocated on floral decorations.The recommendation is reiterated to space out the celebration of this holiday as much as possible, from October 15 to November 15, in order to reduce the number of people who could coincide at the same time in the same place; Therefore, the City Council insists on the convenience of scheduling visits, in order to avoid queues and unnecessary waits, which could even prevent users from accessing the schedule.
