The Totana City Council has urged the regional government to urgently prepare a Regional Plan for Work and Family Conciliation before the end of this summer, if possible with the utmost urgency and agreed with the city councils and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, which provides for the opening of conciliation centers and spaces during the remainder of the summer period.This was approved by the Municipal Plenary, at the initiative of the Socialist Group, in order to provide this Plan with the necessary regional economic resources that allow city councils to guarantee the contracting of the service, with the highest quality, health and safety requirements.The petition advocates the urgent development and publication of health and safety protocols and recommendations that support the opening of these spaces and establish the conditions under which the service must be provided, which must always have the material and the necessary resources for its fulfillment.It is also intended to articulate labor protection mechanisms that prevent the loss of jobs in the Infant Education sector from 0 to 3 years, as well as aid for workers affected by the closure of their centers or the decrease in the number of students.
