Technicians from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) have recently begun the works to improve the consolidation of prehistoric architectural structures at the La Bastida archaeological site.The Local Government Board awarded last June the contract for the improvement of the means of dissemination and consolidation of prehistoric architectural structures in the La Bastida archaeological site to the Autonomous University of Barcelona for the amount of 95,913.90 euros, with the conditions governing this procedure. The file to agree on the contracting of this action was approved in January of this year through a negotiated procedure without advertising.The councilor for Archaeological Sites, Tourism and Culture, Verónica Carricondo, has recently visited the works in order to know first-hand the status and evolution of these actions.
