The mayor, Juan José Cánovas, has submitted a proposal to the ordinary plenary session in June to tender the Interior Cleaning Service in municipal centers and facilities through an open procedure and following various award criteria, subject to harmonized regulation.The motion includes approving the list of administrative clauses, drawn up and signed by the Secretary General who is to govern the bidding and award of this contract; as well as the technical specifications.In the same way, the commitment of the City Council to include in the municipal budget of 2021 and following, the sufficient credit for the execution of this contract.In addition, this proposal is addressed considering that the City Council lacks human resources to execute them and there is a budget limitation under current legislation, given that it does not proceed to the expansion of the municipal staff.The Local Government Board already agreed on January 24 to start the file for the contracting of this service in the face of the current winning bidder's intention to leave it.
