The Department of Works and Infrastructures announces that the Cemetery Road will be cut from tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, and for at least one week due to the rehabilitation and paving works that will be undertaken in this infrastructure.The Local Government Board approved last summer the beginning of the file to contract, through a simplified summary procedure, the rehabilitation and paving of the Totana Cemetery Road, which was awarded to the company “Construcciones Ruiz Alemán, SA”, for an amount of 24,147.95 euros.
The official start of the work is on June 23 and the completion on July 20 approximately.This work is co-financed through a direct grant from the General Directorate of Local Administration included in the Cooperation Plan for Municipal Competition Works and Services (POS) corresponding to the 2018/2019 annuities, so that the Autonomous Community contributes a part and the City Council the remaining figure to complete the total budget.
A total of seven construction companies submitted to the tender procedure.
