| To prevent the spread of infections by COVID-19 | The Municipal Social Centers for the Elderly of the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja and El Paretón will remain closed until September to prevent the spread of contagion by COVID-19, and may be extended if the competent authorities so consider and taking into account the data epidemiological factors of the pandemic in the Region.The City Council has agreed to the new opening already in September following the technical recommendations of the Murcian Institute for Social Action (IMAS), given the high risk of contagion due to the special vulnerability of the users of these services.In this way, the maintenance, as far as possible, of the telematic activities and home care that until now have been provided is advocated.During the closing period, the indications regarding the preparation of contingency plans and other prior measures for the resumption of care will be attended by users in the centers.
