Offering help is the option brought to the ordinary plenary session so that passers-by who sporadically, and in some cases cyclically, resort to the practice of begging, fundamentally seeking monetary aid, accommodation, food or clothing, are identified and protected.The truth is that groups of people have been detected in the municipality who order in the street in an organized way, moving from other municipalities, carrying out their activity in our town to return at the end of the day to their place of origin.That is why the Municipal Group VOX Totana shows the rejection of misgovernment by canceling what was requested at the end of May to be able to provide adequate and coordinated help to people in need in our municipality, with private organizations to guide and care for them, and even more, without implying any type of additional economic measure for its realization, something that does not affect the Expense Budget of this City Council.That is why from VOX Totana it is not understood why once again the sectarian left prefers to give rights to people who do not comply with the law and prefer to oppose the verification of the situation of benefits and social aid to Autonomous Communities if necessary, to assess by the Municipal Social Services the situation of real need and thus offer the available resources to those in need once their data has been verified.It seems to us of a great irresponsibility what the PSOE proposes, opposing the actions of the technicians of the Municipal Social Services.
In addition, it would count on the collaboration of the Local Police if necessary, proceeding to request the required data from the people who beg in our municipality, as well as from any person in Spain, fulfilling the equal rights of all people .From VOX, it is believed that the State Security Forces and Corps should be able to request the DNI from any person, including passers-by, to verify if they have a history, and thus protect our population from possible people who have committed irregularities while doing good.
