| With a total of 20 points on the agenda | The Totana City Council Plenary celebrates tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, from 8:00 p.m., ordinary session for the month of May; the first since the health crisis due to COVID-19 will begin; after those corresponding to March and April could not be held, and with a total of 20 points on the agenda.During the session the Full City Council will be informed of the liquidation of the budget for the 2019 financial year, and the proposal of the Mayor's Office to approve the feasibility study for the concession of the service of the Infant Schools will be addressed.The motion presented by the Department of Roads for the inclusion, in the Municipal Register of Roads, of the name for a rural road in the deputation of Mortí will also be discussed.Political group motionsThe corporations will deal with the PP's motions urging the municipal government team to put out to tender the part of the General Plan that is necessary to remedy the deficiencies imposed by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia in June 2018; require the Government of the Nation not to force the Region of Murcia to re-implement the Inheritance and Donations Tax (file 2105/2020), and another urging the Government team to fix and adapt the accesses to the Guadalentín School in The Paretón.Other motions of the Popular Group, included in the agenda, refer to the reduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) to the hairdressing sector from 21% to 10%; and another to urgently prepare a Weekly Market Development and New Design Plan, complying with the guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health.In addition, more PP motions are collected to increase the economic contribution of the agreement between Cáritas and the Totana City Council; and increase the budget line corresponding to the Civil Protection subsidy.For its part, the Municipal Socialist Group present several motions to approve the holding of renewal elections for the Ombudsman, the initiative to carry out "Poetry on the street" and another motion urging the approval of a Local Financing Law to the municipalities of the Region of Murcia.Likewise, the PSOE has raised other proposals, for its plenary debate, on the regulation of the use of plastic bags in the Weekly Market, measures to support the Youth of the Region of Murcia in the face of the crisis caused by COVID-19 and on aid for housing rental in the Region of Murcia. The order of the day includes the motion of the Civil Platform "Now Totana" on improving assistance and preventing begging in the municipality of Totana; and two citizen motions on the design of a regional plan for the return of young talent from Murcia; and another to allow local administrations to face the economic and social crisis and request the Government of Spain to make a commitment not to intervene in the savings of the municipalities.
