| After the suspension of this activity two months ago as a result of the health crisis caused by COVID-19 | The Weekly Market of the hamlet of El Paretón-Cantareros will resume tomorrow, Friday May 22, after the suspension of its activity two months ago due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, according to sources from the Department of Commerce .The market will be held at its usual location, on Esperanza street in this district, during the hours of operation from 8:00 to 14:00, respectively.This will start with the initial installation of the stalls dedicated to street food sales, just as it happened this past Wednesday with the launch of the weekly market in Totana.The Department of Commerce reminds that the protection regulations and sanitary security measures for service users are mandatory, such as the mandatory use of a mask, 2-meter distance with third parties, it is not allowed to touch the products by users and hand hygiene through proper washing and application of alcoholic hydrogel.In addition, among the reopening regulations to be met by street vendors, the mandatory use of gloves and masks, the obligatory dispensing of hydroalcoholic gel in all the food stands installed, the minimum separation between stands of 3 meters, as well as the 2 meters of separation between sellers of the same position and between seller and customer.Also, only sellers may touch the products; the stalls must be cleaned and disinfected frequently; and the obligatory use of litter bins with lid and pedal in all the stalls, indicate the same sources.For all these reasons, the Department of Commerce calls on both users and sellers to become aware of the measures and recommendations, and thus ensure that the return to weekly markets occurs in the most controlled and safe manner possible.
