The Totana City Council has decided to postpone the disinfection work scheduled for Tuesday night in different neighborhoods of the urban area, the “La Charca” and “Nueva Espua” and Lbor urbanizations;
as a result of weather forecasts.
Volunteer farmers were scheduled to continue the cleaning work in some pending areas of the urban roads that were not done before Easter, when the coordination of this protocol against the coronavirus began.
The works will be resumed in the next few days whenever the episode of instability ends.
Before Easter, work was already done by volunteer farmers coordinated by the municipal Public Health technicians and with the support of the Local Police and Civil Protection, in some neighborhoods of Totana, El Paretn-Cantareros and El Raiguero
The work is carried out through treatment with 4% sodium hypochlorite, whose disinfectant product was donated last week by the Totana Hunting Society, supplied by Distribuciones El Basto.
In addition, the storage containers that allow its distribution on the streets and the protection material have been provided by Agrotaw, Agrcola Prime, Salvador Gmez and Framusa, among others.
