Totana hosted last Saturday March 7th the Intermunicipal Stage of School Sports Soccer in the cadet and youth categories, organized by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of the Totana City Council, where the centers participated totaneros teaching from IES Juan de la Cierva and IES Prado Mayor.
The School Room hosted the youth category, both male and female.
The IES Prado Mayor participated in the masculine modality, playing a triangular with the IES Europa de Ãguilas and the IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón, taking the final victory in the latter teaching center.
As for the female modality, the totanero team of the IES Prado Mayor was defeated in the final also against the IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón.
On the other hand, the Municipal Sports Center "6 de Diciembre" hosted the cadet category, where the totanero men's team from IES Prado Mayor won their semifinal match against IES Rey Carlos III de Aguilas, but then lost the final against IES Antonio Hellín from Mazarrón.
In the female category, the IES Prado Mayor de Totana could not get the victory in the final against the IES Felipe II de Mazarrón either.
In this same modality of futsal, the Intermunicipal Phase of the children's category was played in Alhama, where the IES Juan de la Cierva de Totana failed to qualify in the triangular contest against the IES Miguel Hernández de Alhama and the IES Domingo Valdivieso de Mazarrón .
Lastly, the juvenile category of this inter-municipal phase took place in Aledo, where the Totanero team from Colegio La Cruz emerged victorious in their confrontation against Colegio San Cristóbal e Aledo, thus qualifying for the Regional Final of School Sports School Soccer, scheduled for Saturday May 30 in Murcia, by the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia.
