Dear Friends.

First of all to show you that it is not my will to enter into controversy with the Cabildo on any subject, including the realization of the Museum of Holy Week in Totana, let alone be disrespectful with its decisions.

By manifesting myself by this means and perhaps insistently, it is because I have no other means to show my disagreement with the decision taken by this Higher Body, on such an important issue for the future of Totana and its Holy Week.

My manifestations cannot be considered an act of disrespect or contempt.

On the contrary, it is an act of freedom and enrichment in any democratic society like ours.

My discrepancy and complaint is based on the fact that for a decision to be unquestionable among all the parties that take part in a debate, it is that this decision is reciprocal in both directions, both for the supporters of the SI, and for the supporters. from NO.

The decision of the need of 2/3 of affirmative votes to approve a point, is vitiated from the beginning if the validity of reciprocity is not taken, that is, to demand the need of 1/3 of the negative votes to deny that point

In the case of the Cabildo, 12 votes would be needed for approval or 6 votes against for its refusal, because the reality is that, according to the vote taken, the negative vote of 5 people decides the will of the 17 members as a whole.

If we do not adopt this minimum precaution, we could reach the extreme case of the great injustice.

Suppose the result of the vote would have been 10 votes in favor, 6 abstentions and 1 vote against.

The result would have been not to approve the completion of the Museum of Holy Week in Totana because it would not have reached 2/3 of the number of members of the Cabildo with the affirmative vote.

That is, a single person would have submitted his opinion on the set of 17 people.

I don't think this is an example of democratic or majority behavior.

For these reasons, I respectfully ask the Cabildo to reconsider its decision and proceed to a new vote in which the number of votes necessary to overcome the agreement adopted is unquestionable according to the majority that he himself imposed and imposed on the 2 / 3 of the voting members, that is:

Minimum number of votes in favor of the completion of the Museum ……… ... 12.

Minimum number of votes against the completion of the Museum ……… ..6.

Thank you very much for your attention and interest in the aggrandizement of Holy Week in Totana and the people in general.
