Results Club Totana TM] | Wide participation of players of Club Totana TM in the II Regional Open of the season played this past weekend in the CAR of Los Alcázares and scoring for the regional ranking in the individual category |


On Saturday morning the benjamín, alevín and children category were disputed.

Our youngest Cesar participated in the Alevín category where he managed to pass the first group stage to be eliminated later in the first tie.

Alevín Domingo González and Víctor Vélez also competed in this category.

The two got off the final table in the first phase.

Later in the consolation they managed to pass several rounds arriving Sunday until the final that he lost with Elisa Feliú of Cartagena.

In the children's category our representatives were Cayetano Rodríguez and Pepe Carreño.

The two got the pass as first group.

Cayetano passed his first crossing but then fell in the quarterfinals.

Pepe did pass this tie and also the next to stand in the final that yielded 3-0 thus achieving second place.


On Saturday afternoon we had representation of our club in the sub23 and veteran categories.

Domingo and Santiago Méndez in sub 23 managed to be first in the group.

Later in the qualifiers Santiago was eliminated in the quarter round.

Sunday came another round being finally 4th.

The best news came from the category of veterans where we had 7 representatives.

Juan Antonio Tejedor and Agustín Tudela had to settle for the consolation phase.

Julián Cerón did go to the final draw but fell in the first round.

Mariano Tudela came to the quarter and was eliminated by Pedro M. Ruíz.

The semifinals with clear totanero color because of the four semifinalists three were from our club.

Domingo Méndez and Vicente Carreño played a magnificent and exciting game, passing Vicente to the final against Pedro who had won the other semifinal at Campoy de Lorca.

In the final it was Pedro who won while for the third place Sunday 3-1 was imposed with what the podium of veterans was complete for our club with Pedro 1 °, Vicente 2 ° and Domigo 3 °.



On Sunday morning the absolute test was held with 8 totaneros.

Highlight especially the great game and the regularity of Domingo Jr. Very good games that earned him to be runner-up in this category queen winning the semifinal to Víctor Sánchez of the club of Murcia-El Palmar.

Very good also the level shown by Santiago who played the other semifinal to Enrique Limonta of the same club in Murcia- El Palmar who was the champion.

Andrés David Ros and Pedro M. Ruíz arrived in the quarter, and veteran Domingo until eighth.

Cayetano, who was participating for the first time in this absolute category, managed to pass the first phase in which Cerón remained.

Julián Méndez was also out in the first phase but later he was the consolation champion.


Next weekend the leagues return.

In the 2nd National day 18 will be played in which our two teams will face each other.

The match will be on Saturday 14 at 5 pm at the Manolo Ibáñez de Totana pavilion.

In addition FRAMUSA B will play on Sunday 15 at 10.30 at home against the team of La Torreta de Elda.

In 3rd National our team will travel to Murcia to face the Murcia Veterans team.

Meeting that will begin at 5 pm on Saturday 14 in the Prince of Asturias Pavilion.

The regional DH team this day rests and the 1st Autonomous team plays its next two games the following weekend.
