The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the Mayor's Office to access what was requested by the commercial Agrupación Diez Mula SL (ADIMUL), winner of the contract of the Interior Cleaning Service in Municipal Centers and Facilities of the City of Totana, declaring the Completion thereof as of January 31, 2020.
On January 11, 2018, this municipal contract was signed between the City Council of Totana and said commercial entity, whose term of execution -as established in the fifth clause of the administrative specifications- was two years, and may be extended for annual periods up to two years , being a total of four years.
On February 1, 2018, this service began on the part of the aforementioned company, although on January 10, 2020, the successful tenderer submitted a letter indicating that "it had made the decision not to continue in the service, refusing to request the first extension of the contract established in the contract documents for this service. "
Thus, on January 10, the report of the municipal technician responsible for the contract was issued, indicating that he does not appreciate the existence of any reason that prevents the extension of this contract;
Therefore, the Municipal Intervention has made the corresponding credit withholding.
Thus, it has been proceeded by the Local Government Board to estimate the request submitted by the successful tenderer and accordingly the contract is declared finalized on the date of its expiration.
