San Silvestre Vallecana
On December 31, the 55th edition of its traditional San Silvestre took place in Vallecas, Madrid.
In this edition, a total of 34,121 athletes finished the test, among them Poli Alcaraz, who participated in the 10km distance with a very good time of 41 minutes and 57 seconds.
Poly finished in position 1,210 of the general and 453 in the Master 35 category.
San Silvestre Murciana
Stefan Pracht, Carlos Ballester and Rut Cánovas participated in the San Silvestre Ciudad de Murcia which had an unofficial distance of 6.5 km.
The first athlete of the CAT to cross the finish line was Stefan Pracht with a great time of 22 minutes and 56 seconds, in position 38 of the general and at a pace of 3 minutes and 31 seconds the km.
Moments later they crossed the finish line:
Carlos Ballester, (25 minutes and 42 seconds, in position 126 of the general and 3:57 km)
Rut Cánovas, (29 minutes and 25 seconds and in position 20 of the female general).
San Silvestre Lorquina
The test had a distance of 4.5 km and a participation of more than one thousand athletes.
Among those involved ten CAT athletes:
Ino Casanova, María José Rodríguez, Encarni Valenzuela, Paula Pérez, Susi Andreu, Jesús Martínez, Edu Lucas, Miguel Ãngel del Vals "Michi", Bernabé Martínez and Pedro Cánovas.
The first member of the CAT to cross the finish line was Edu Lucas, finished in the 30th position of the general with an excellent time of 14 minutes and 44 seconds, 3 minutes and 16 seconds the Km;
moments later they ended:
Pedro Cánovas (48 of the general, 15:15 minutes, at 3:23 km) /
Jesús Martínez (56 general, 15:37 minutes, 3:28 km /
Michi (64 of the general, 15:54 minutes, 3:32 km.
A few minutes later they finished: Ino, Encarni, María José, Paula, Susi and Berna who decided to perform the test in a group, in disguise, enjoying the day and the festive atmosphere with a good time of 25 minutes and 50 seconds.
