The Local Government Board has accepted the grant of the Autonomous Community in the amount of nineteen thousand three hundred and forty-four euros for the payment of the remuneration of a technician, with the category of counselor, with a dedication of 960 hours per year, and a minimum dedication Average per week of 20 hours.
The execution period will be from January 1, 2020 until December 31, 2020. For municipalities with a population of between 15,000 and 50,000 inhabitants, a maximum eligible amount of 19,344 euros per year was established for the payment of the compensation of this technician.
The granting of these subsidies has been carried out under the order of the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, specifying the commitments and conditions to which the concession will be subject, in accordance with the provisions of this decree and the remaining applicable regulations regarding public subsidies.
This aid is intended to contribute to the financing of the expenses of the staff providing guidance and accompaniment services for the purpose of sustainable integration into the labor market of young people who do not meet the requirements of the Youth Guarantee, within the framework of the ESF Operational Program 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia financed by the European Social Fund.
The high youth unemployment rate in the Region of Murcia necessitates an improvement of the guidance and intermediation systems and a strengthening of the employment programs developed by the Local Corporations, consistent with the regional strategic line of employability.
The young population, especially the inactive, those who have dropped out of school and lack a job, are far removed from public employment services and have greater difficulties entering the labor market.
Therefore, it is considered necessary to provide specialized services for youth, close to their reality, that facilitates their access to information, personalized attention, and advice in the active search for employment, as well as training and orientation programs towards entrepreneurship
The FSE Operational Program 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia (PO FSE) aims to promote sustainability and quality of employment, promote labor mobility, access to work by jobseekers and inactive people, including the long-term unemployed.
