The Local Government Board has recognized the obligation it has with the La Santa de Totana Foundation to contribute the figure of 12,000 euros corresponding to this year 2019 under the statutes of this entity.
Article 24 of the statutes of the La Santa Foundation reflects the commitment to make an annual financial contribution for the aforementioned amount for each of the founding entities, in this case, the City Council of Totana and the Bishopric of Cartagena.
The La Santa Foundation, created by mutual agreement between the City Council of Totana on behalf of the town of Totana and the Bishopric of Cartagena on behalf of the Catholic Church- has as its main mission to preserve the nature of the Sanctuary of the Patron Saint Santa Eulalia, popularly known as The Saint.
