The IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu organizes next Monday, October 14, the 1st Erasmus + Experiences Day, in which the initiatives that this educational center carries out in this context promoted by the EU will be presented and evaluated, according to reports the Department of Education.
The IES totanero has been participating in the Erasmus + program through two projects: KA101, which involves the training of teachers of the center abroad;
and KA229, for teachers and students. The auditorium of the IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorniu will host this day, in which the team of teachers responsible for this project encourage you to participate and learn about the different Erasmus experiences that are being developed in the region.
Erasmus + is an EU program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
It has an expected duration until 2020 and is not only aimed at students, since it offers opportunities to a wide variety of people and organizations.
In addition, it offers opportunities for people of all ages the possibility of developing and sharing knowledge and experiences in institutions and organizations of different countries;
as well as a wide range of organizations, such as universities, education and training centers, reflection groups, research centers and private companies.
Erasmus + contributes to the Europe 2020 Strategy for growth, employment, social justice and inclusion, and to the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in the field of education and training (ET 2020).
Erasmus + also wants to promote the sustainable development of partner countries in the field of higher education and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the EU youth strategy.
Within the program, specific objectives are proposed such as reducing unemployment, especially among young people;
promote adult education;
to encourage young people to participate in the democratic life of Europe;
support innovation, cooperation and reforms;
reduce early school leaving;
and promote cooperation and mobility with EU partner countries.
