The line of research in lipodystrophies of the hospital complex of Santiago de Compostela and the research line of the university hospital of La Paz in Madrid, were present at the Annual ECLIP MEETING and VII International Symposium of Lipodystrophies held from October 4 to 5 in the State Reference Center for people and families with rare diseases BELIEVE in the City of Burgos.
Both Research Lines that have the financial support of the AELIP association had the opportunity to present their progress and work in the meeting.
Work that is possible among others, thanks to the solidarity of all the people who participate in the fundraising activities promoted by AELIP that this year has provided € 33,000 to each line of research, assuming a total of € 66,000 equivalent to 50 % of the annual budget of AELIP for this year 2019.
The line of research of Santiago de Compostela had the presentations of Sofía Sanchez Iglesias, David Araujo Vilar and Antía Fernandez Pombo, while the line of research of Madrid had the interventions of Fernando Corvillo Rodriguez and Margarita López Trascasa.
