Adif High Speed ​​has recently awarded two new contracts in the High Speed ​​Line (LAV) Murcia-Almería, which is part of the Mediterranean Corridor.
The Murcia-Almeria High Speed ​​Line has an approximate length of 186 kilometers, of which 103 kilometers run through the province of Almería and the remaining 82 kilometers through the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The first of the contracts corresponds to consulting services and technical assistance destined to the control of the works in the San-Totana (24.7 km) section, located entirely in the province of Murcia.
This contract has been awarded to the joint venture formed by Saproinco, Ingiopsa Engineering, EIS Guide Consultants and Lacer Engineering, for an amount of 3,348,644.75 euros (VAT included) and an execution period of 39 months.
Its purpose is the provision of assistance and consulting services for the execution of the technical and economic support necessary for the correct execution of the works according to the established quality, environmental and safety conditions.
The second contract corresponds to the realization of quality control of materials in the Sangonera-Lorca section (38 km), also located in the province of Murcia.
Its purpose is to carry out contrast tests of the materials to be used in the works and to give the results to the works management so that they adopt the decisions that best ensure the quality of the works.
It has been awarded for 706,725 euros (VAT included) to the joint venture formed by Applus Norcontrol and Southeast laboratories and has an execution period of 32 months.
With these new awards, work continues to develop the necessary actions to complete the high-speed connection between Murcia and Almeria in the shortest possible time.
This action will be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Multiregional PO of Spain 2014-2020, Thematic Objective 7: Sustainable transport.
