The elections to the new Board of Directors of the Municipal Center for the Elderly of Totana will be held on Friday, October 11, in the Training Room of the same center (first floor), from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm .
The outgoing council has met for the last time, extraordinarily, by calling the elections and approving, in this way, the new electoral calendar that will culminate with the inauguration with the new governing body of the Municipal Center for the Elderly from the Balsa Vieja square.
In this way, all the members who are registered and present their candidacy officially until September 30, at 2:00 p.m., may be candidates.
To vote, members must be registered and identify themselves with the DNI or the membership card of the center itself.
The constitution of the electoral table and the opening of the electoral process will take place on September 19, in such a way that the composition of the table will be made up of three voluntary partners, the oldest being the president and the other two members.
The presentation of candidatures will be made from the beginning of the process and during a week, so that the candidacies will be sent to the president of the electoral table by means of application form presented in the register of the City Council until 14.00 hours of September 30, whose request must be signed, attaching an updated passport-size photograph and photocopy of the ID.
The provisional list of candidates will be displayed on the bulletin board of the Center for the Elderly during the next three days for possible challenges;
and on the fourth day the final list will be proclaimed.
Then, after the election day, the elected candidate will have a week to appoint four members in order to form the new Board of Directors, which must be ratified by the City Council.
Once all the members have been ratified, the act of inauguration of the new Board of Directors will be held in the municipal assembly hall.
