The new councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Pedro Antonio Megal Ruiz, will take office in the municipal corporation in the ordinary plenary session on September 26, replacing former spokesman Andrés García Cánovas, who voluntarily resigned on the 12th of May August.
The General Secretary of the City Council of Totana has already received this week the credentials of Pedro Antonio Megal Ruiz of the Central Electoral Board, so it will be in the next session when he assumes the minutes of councilor of the Consistory totanero.
Pedro Antonio Megal, who is 37 years old and has a degree in Philosophy and a Master's degree in Education, has worked as a professor of Secondary Education abroad (Professor of Theory of Knowledge and Anthropology in India, the United States and Kazakhstan);
and he was next on the list of the PSOE's candidacy in the last municipal elections, specifically he was number 6, being the first time he joined public life.
