The Department of Economic Development, Training and Employment of the City of Totana has carried out, in the Center for Local Development, the selection test of the course "Auxiliary Operations of Administrative and General Services", whose objective is to select the students who will finally perform the training, since it was highly demanded and about forty people were enrolled, of which only fifteen places plus three additional ones have the professional certificate.
This is a professional certificate with a total of 430 hours, of which 40 are internships in companies;
and classes will have a schedule from 9:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
The course is structured in 4 independent modules, whose contents are:
First module: Basic administrative office techniques (150 hours).
Second module: Basic communication operations (120 hours).
Third module: Playback and archive (120 hours).
Fourth module: Professional non-work practices (40 hours).
This training action is aimed at the unemployed in general and motivated to work on issues related to the professional family of Administration and Management.
Once trained, these people will be seen as professionals who can develop their professional activity in any company or entity in the private or public sector, mainly in offices, offices or administration departments or general services.
In addition, they may occupy jobs such as: Telephone Central Operators, Telemarketers, Receptionists-Telephone Operators in Offices, Post Office Employees, Correspondence Classifiers, Ordinances and Ticket Office.
The course, which is free, has been granted to the City of Totana by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF) also counting on the co-financing of the European Social Fund (ESF), and increasing this subsidy to the amount of 25,740 euros, being therefore 100% subsidized.
In addition, at the Center for Local Development, this September we begin other training activities such as: the Workshop of Social Networks of the Autonomous Community (CECARM) "Start a successful online business" and the course of Psychoeducational Training.
