The Local Government Board has awarded the demolition contract, with the supervision of an archaeologist, of the building located on Paseo de Las Ollerķas and Rambla de La Santa to the merchant "Construcciones Hermanos Palomares, SA", for an amount of 12,402.50 euros VAT included.
The Local Government Board approved two weeks ago to start the file to hire the demolition work of the abandoned building, debris and cleaning the land affected by the demolition and fencing of the resulting site.
Two companies have been submitted to the bidding process, with the successful bidder having the best economic offer, in compliance with the administrative, technical and legal clauses.
The Mayor's Office has already issued a resolution in October 2017 ordering the subsidiary execution of the demolition works of the abandoned building, owned by the company "Pomociones Archivel, SL".
The state of ruin of the building was already declared in January of that same year, as well as the clearing and cleaning of the land affected by the demolition and fencing of the resulting site.
