The Municipal Corporation of the City of Totana made an official statement last night on the occasion of the celebration of the World Day of Rare Diseases, yesterday February 28, immediately before the start of the ordinary plenary session in February.
The day was commemorated under the slogan "Rare diseases: a comprehensive challenge, a global challenge" and the simple institutional act was held in the plenary hall.
This one had the participation of the mayor, Andrés García, and the spokespersons of the three municipal groups and the non-attached mayor;
who read the institutional manifesto, which included the actions that should be promoted by Public Administrations and the challenges to contribute to the global approach of these pathologies.
The declaration of adhesion and institutional support of the totanera Corporation also had the assistance of the president of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) and the D'Genes Association, Juan Carrión, as well as members of its board of directors, volunteers and partners .
