On Saturday, January 19, a new edition of "Playing athletics" was developed, where the students of the majority of schools in Totana participated, and which was qualifying for the regional final to be held in Cartagena.
The event was organized by the Department of Sports of Totana and two members of the CAT collaborated.
On Sunday 20 the CAT was present in three events held in Cuevas de Almanzora, Bullas and El Palmar.
Juan Francisco García took the podium in the XVIII Half Marathon of Cuevas de Almanzora (Almería).
He finished first in his category and 17th overall with an extraordinary time of 1 hour, 35 minutes and 32 seconds.
A delegation of six CAT athletes traveled to the town of Bullas Murcia to participate in the 11 km of the V Trail del Romero.
The first athlete to cross the finish line was Susi Andreu (1 hour, 16 minutes and 11 seconds), followed by Aida Cano (1:16:49);
moments later Noemí Tudela and Maria José Rodríguez (1:21:58) finished, followed by Telesfora Martínez (1:24:28) and Ino Casanova (1:28:23).
Pedro Cánovas participated in the IX Popular Cross of Palmar, made the 5,160 meters in a time of 29 minutes and 10 seconds.
