The Department of Culture has made the selection of children and winners in the "Real Mailbox" that can participate in the Three Wise Men's Parade on January 5 in the municipality of Totana.
The draw was held at the Socio-cultural Center "La Cárcel", with a participation of 84 participants and five children were also chosen in reserve in case one of the selected ones failed.
In the act was present the councilor Antonia Camacho, who along with some participants proceeded to remove the beneficiaries from the ballot box.
This initiative is carried out in response to the demand of children, supported by parents of the municipality, to be able to participate as Pajes in the procession of kings that every year is being held in Totana, to commemorate this Christmas tradition.
One more year, the need arose to make a raffle to select from among all the children who wish to attend it, who will be able to participate in the aforementioned Cabalgata de Reyes Magos.
The selected children will have to collect in the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel", the accreditation to participate in the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos, on December 27 and 28, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, according to sources. of the Department of Culture.
In addition, participants are reminded that they must be dressed as a page with suits of their own since the organization will not provide the costumes.
