The Department of Culture reports that this Saturday, December 15, from 19:00 hours, is inaugurated, in the exhibition room "Gregorio Cebrián", the Bethlehem Municipal "Sample of Art Belenista", which has made the master Belenista Francisco Javier Carrillo.
With this activity officially starts the program of activities promoted by this municipal department on the occasion of the Christmas and Kings 2018/2019;
and its inauguration will be in charge of the municipal and religious authorities.
The Local Government Board already approved last week to sign a collaboration agreement with the Association "Friends of Bethlehem Sale Los Pinos" for the realization of this activity, novel until now in Totana, amounting to 4,600 euros, on the occasion of the celebration of the Christmas holidays.
The proposal of the Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, reflected the signing of this agreement that will allow the location and construction of the Municipal Bethlehem in the exhibition hall "Gregorio Cebrián" of this town, financing the expenses derived from this activity.
One more year from the City Council of Totana the celebration of the traditional Bethlehem Municipal to commemorate the Christmas and Kings Parties 2018/2019 is considered.
In previous years, there has been the collaboration of municipal workers for the assembly of said Bethlehem, a circumstance that currently is not given to the lack of trained labor personnel for the execution of this task.
From the Department of Culture arises, therefore, the need to sign a collaboration agreement with the Association "Friends of Bethlehem Sale The Pines", of recognized experience and experience in the construction and display of cribs, for the development of Bethlehem Municipal of the next Christmas Parties in Totana.
This association commits to build this Municipal Bethlehem that will be composed of 12 paintings called "Belén Cuadro" of one square meter each;
8 fragments of Bethlehem representing the Cavalcade of Kings, Announcement of Mary, Announcement to Shepherds, Group of Women in the Well, La Camellera and La Beduina, with figures of 50 centimeters in height;
a panoramic Bethlehem of 6 meters in length.
