Today, Sunday, July 1, the Spanish Championships that have been held in the city of Antequera since last Friday, June 22, have finished.

The Totana TM club has participated in the prebenjamín, alevín, juvenil and sub23 categories.

On Friday the 22nd they started the tests of teams from the Junior and Youth categories in which the two male teams of the Totana TM club of these categories achieved their goal of getting into the final table.

With a lot of fight in an even match until the end the youth managed to turn around their last match against the Club Gasteiz de Vitoria which served them to qualify for the next phase.

The Basques went 0-2 to finally win the totanero team 3-2.

Then in the qualifiers they had to face the University of Burgos to which they stood up.

Those who were later proclaimed champions of Spain were able to start a point and the second was very close.

For its part, the Alevín team with Gabriel Sánchez, Cayetano Rodríguez and Pepe Carreño won very tightly 3-2 to Alcorcón, 3-1 to Ganxets de Reus and 3-0 to Almedralejo B and then lost 3-0 to Alicante TM.

In the eliminatory our executioner was the Cártama Malagueño that was more solid than the totaneros and they got out of the competition.

In the U23 category, the team did not achieve the objective of the pass, giving in the key match very tightly with Mijas de Málaga.

IN INDIVIDUAL BRONZE MEDAL FOR GABRIEL SANCHEZ.

In the individual category new bronze medal for our alevín Gabriel Sánchez.

Good matches Gabriel's in the individual test where he started the key matches going back 0-2 to the Catalan Francesc Carrera.

Then he beat David Martín de Baleares 3-0.

In the youth category Domingo Jr. could not overcome the group stage staying out of the final table.

On the other hand Santiago in the qualifying rounds managed to pass the first one and then gave in the second crossing.

Cayetano Rodríguez also won his first participation in a Spanish championship, moving on to the final table with Pepe Carreño, although they were later eliminated.

In double youth the twins managed to pass the first crossing but not the second.

The same as the alevín couple Gabriel / Pepe.

Finally, we should also highlight the role of Cesar Tejedor, who in his first year of prebenjamín in his first participation in a Spanish championship managed to pass to the final table although he was eliminated in the first crossing.
