The Kaura group, which operates under the RenFeed and Renbio brands, has acquired a storage plant in Totana (Murcia) from which it will supply fats to animal feed manufacturers in the Levant region.

This new step in the expansion of Kaura consolidates the growth phase in production lines and national markets that the company executes, with its headquarters in Salteras (Seville).

In this way, Kaura Coproducts already has facilities in Salteras, Mérida (Badajoz), Aznalcóllar and Pedrera (both in Seville), Jabugo (Huelva), and Totana (Murcia).

This network consolidates the position of strength of the group in its sector, in which it has been present for 75 years.

The Totana plant has 5,500 m2, with 39 deposits for a total capacity of 3.5 million liters.

It also has a boiler room, office, transformation center, scale, and a warehouse of about 1000 m2.

Totana is a strategic point for Kaura, given the high number of feed factories in Murcia that supply the pig farms supplying the El Pozo factory.

In this way, Kaura will provide a better service to customers, as a local and fixed provider.

The markets that are covered from the Totana plant are initially Murcia and Almeria, with a view to expanding in the neighboring communities of Valencia and Castilla la Mancha.

Kaura Coproducts has a plant with more than eighty workers employed in Salteras.

Its main objective is the production of meat meals derived from poultry by-products for pet food and aquaculture, in addition to producing fats.

Thanks to the confidence that its production and distribution lines acquire, as a result of having adjusted to these criteria, it has become one of the leading companies in Spain in this sector.

It is a new step that responds to a business culture that prioritizes constant improvement, the quality of the finished product and customer satisfaction.

Recently Renfeed brand, owned by Kaura Coproducts, has achieved the GMP + certificate, awarded by the Dutch institution of the same name to avoid possible cases of contamination and malpractice in the agri-food sector, standardizing criteria for the assessment of production processes, according to sources from group to Murcia.com.

Over the years, this award has been linked to a high consideration in terms of quality, so today, it is associated with some of the biggest names in this industry, among which RenFeed is now.

In this way, it becomes the only company in its field that owns it in Spain.

Kaura currently exports most of its production worldwide thanks to certificates like the one mentioned, which makes it a company with a clear international projection.
