On May 1, the XXXVIII edition of the Pedestrian race in Ceuta was held.
Juan Francisco García moved there to dress the colors of the CAT and travel 4,200 meters, which he made in a great time of 15 minutes and 48 seconds at a speed of 3 minutes and 45 seconds the kilometer, finishing in 15th place among the veterans and the 5th in the Extra Male Veteran category.
On Sunday, May 6, the XV edition of the "Valle de Almanzora Mountain Race" was held.
The Trail consisted of walking the distance of Half Marathon (21.097 meters) in which Juan Francisco Garcia participated again, ending with a great time of 2 hours and 6 seconds ending in 69th position of the general and 11 in the Category Veteran D Male.
Also that day a delegation of the Athletics Club Totana collaborated in the "VI Mountain Race of Aledo Memorial Antonio Canovas" both in the organization of the race (Patricio and Rufete) and as "brooms" closing the competition (Carlos and Poli) .
The solidarity test organized by and for the benefit of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) had exit and goal in the Villa de Aledo, consisted of traveling 29.5 km through a mixed circuit of path, forest track and asphalt.
Bartolomé Sánchez Muñoz was the first athlete of the CAT to cross the finish line, he finished the race in a time of 2 hours, 41 minutes and 11 seconds in 16th individual position of the team version and 3rd by teams.
In the individual category, the first CAT member to finish the race was José Carlos González, he was 10th in the Men's A Veteran category with a time of 2 hours, 48 ​​minutes and 7 seconds.
Followed by Bartolomé Sánchez García who obtained a time of 3 hours, 11 minutes and 45 seconds and was 10th in the Men's Veteran B category and Rosa Martínez with a time of 4 hours and 21 minutes, 9th in the senior category.
In the Senderista modality, our compañeras María José Rodriguez, Aída Cano, María José García and Mirian represented us.
