The General Directorate of Youth grants the City of Totana a grant of 17,300 euros to finance the labor costs of a youth guidance technician in employment, by virtue of direct aid to municipalities of more than 15,000 inhabitants to provide guidance services and support for the young population in the face of its sustainable integration in the labor market during the year 2018.
The operational program FSE 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia (PO FSE) aims to promote sustainability and quality of employment, promote labor mobility, access to work by job seekers and inactive people, including the long-term unemployed.
In order to achieve these objectives, the 2014-2020 FSE Operational Program of the Region of Murcia promotes and reinforces orientation, information and intermediation actions with an individualized attention to young people according to their profiles and training and labor mobility needs. young people between 16 and 29 years old.
In application of the principle of subsidiarity and decentralization, this grant is intended to financially support the municipalities for the provision of guidance and support services to the young population, since the Local Administration, being the closest to the citizenship, it is the one that better and more efficiently can provide the aforementioned services and, therefore, achieve its improvement in employability, socio-labor insertion and integration in the labor market.
