Local Corporation of Totana Full Council has addressed this morning at the regular meeting for the month of January about a dozen proposals among which the joint proposal submitted by the three local groups to establish lines of cooperation with earthquake victims in Haiti, before the terrible catastrophe suffered, calling on society to assist totanera action lines to be launched in the municipality.
Also, through the approved proposal will urge the National Government to be allocated the necessary assistance to alleviate the effects of the disaster in Haiti and to urge the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration in order to articulate the coordinated in support of those affected by this disaster.
Similarly, it should be noted the unanimous adoption of the four proposals submitted jointly by the Department of Social Welfare and Health for joining the ERDF manifest on the National Strategy for Rare Diseases, and to urge the Ministry of Health to the allocation of resources to the Unit of Medical Genetics, Hospital Universitario Virgen de La Arrixaca.
In this same vein, ask the Ministry of Education and Science to establish funding lines for research health scientist, and the city will join the commemoration of the Second World Day for Rare Diseases.
On the other hand, the corporate has given the green light to proposals submitted by the Department of Social Welfare to support and promote the objectives and actions to be taken to mark the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion 2010 as well as urge the National Government to increase funding for economic reception and integration of immigrants and improve the new legislation on foreigners.
