Sports School Table Tennis, which will begin classes on Friday 2 October at City Hall "Manolo Ibáñez" will be maintained by the Club de Tenis de Mesa de Totana in collaboration with the Sports Department.

In this sense, the councilman announced the immediate start of the last phase of works in the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", in which reshape the area you will find the gym, and create a hobby room sports, where there are three table tennis tables, pool table and darts area, among a number of other leisure sports.
With the implementation of this room, which management is considering to run a contribution from the Table Tennis Club, is to create an entertainment area, free of smoke and alcohol, where local youth can meet and practice various alternative leisure sports.
Sports School Table Tennis, aimed at children aged 8 years, will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in two groups: from 17:30 to 18:45 hours for children aged between 9 -12 years and from 18:45 hours to 20:00 hours for over 12 years in the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez."
The inscriptions, the price of 16 euros, will be formalized in the Municipal Pavilion of Sports "Manolo Ibáñez."
The President of the Club, who thanked the assistance given by the Department of Sports, reported that this year the Club will have a national team in third division, a team of first regional and one or two in the second state, in addition to participating in regional championships, and encouraged all citizens to practice this sport.
