The Education Department has convened a year grants to support the movement for students who use the bus service established between the City Council and business "coaches Espuņa" for their movements to the various faculties of the University of Murcia for the school year 2008/2009.
The Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, explained that the local board of government approved at its last session the basis of the call for transportation grants for college students residing in the town of Totana, the deadline for submission of applications begins May 4 and ends May 15.
The Department of Education has increased the amount of scholarships for this year stood at 100 euros per student requesting assistance.
During 2007/2008 the aid enjoyed a total of 57 students living in the city.
Among the requirements of the call are collected reside in Totana, be enrolled in a university located in the city of Murcia, scroll to it using the bus service established between the municipality and the said local public transport company, and found the head family or the applicant, should be emancipated abreast of municipal tax payments or obligations.
Applications must be submitted to the Citizens Advice Service (SAC) of the City of Totana, for what must have attached a photocopy of the ID of the applicant, registration certificate issued by the bank receipt college or have gone through the income Registration fee, registration certificate will be sought in the SAC with the filing, receipt issued by the bus company that certifies the use of the service.
Also must submit an affidavit of the applicant not to have any help for transport and bank account number (20 digits) which make the deposit of the scholarship should be granted, as the mayor explained of Education.
