The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Councillor of Social Welfare and Citizenship, Juan Carrion, and Council Member of Health, Trini Cayuela, February 23 elpasa attended the inauguration of new premises of the Association "Friends of the Phone Esperanza "in Totana (Amit Totana).
The opening ceremony of the new headquarters located at Rua Dyers also attended the national president of the Association, Jesús Madrid, and the regional coordinator, Salvador Vizcaino.
With the opening of this restaurant, which will be open Monday to Friday during morning and afternoon, Amit Totana begin to develop training and guidance to promote emotional health.
This international association, which currently has 112 partners in Totana, that started on June 3, 2008 when the Local Board was formed, develops and assists in prevention programs, crisis intervention, promotes activities that facilitate interpersonal communication and volunteering and spreading the values of solidarity and social participation, among other things.
Both the mayor and council members praised the work performed by this partnership in the whole of society and moved the institutional support from the Consistory to the president of AMIT Totana, Maria Pallares, as well as representatives of the local board.
In addition, the mayor met a few weeks ago with representatives of the Consistory of AMIT Totana to see first hand the projects that the partnership will launch in the town.
